We store nothing

This matters if you want something taken down, so it is worth being clear.

Save Instagram Reels keeps no videos and no pictures. When somebody pastes a link, we work out where it sits on Instagram and pass that address to their phone. Their phone then pulls it straight from Instagram. It never touches our website and we keep no copy.

What that means for you: there is normally nothing here to delete. We cannot remove a file that was never on our site.

Where to complain instead

If an account is re-posting your work, report it to Instagram. That is much faster and works far better than anything we can do: they can delete the post and act against the account. We can do neither, because we have no connection to that account.

If your work has been copied onto a different website, complain to whoever runs that website.

When to write to us anyway

Do write to us if you think this site is being used to copy your work and you want particular links blocked here. That we can do, and we act quickly once we have everything we need.

How to send a notice

Send all of the following to support@saveigreels.app. If anything is missing we have to write back and it takes longer:

What your work is, clearly enough for us to know which one you mean.
The exact links involved, so we can find them.
Your name, address, phone number and email.
A line saying you honestly believe this use was not allowed by you, your representative, or the law.
A line saying the information is true and that you are the owner or are allowed to act for them. This must be given under penalty of perjury, which means you can face legal consequences for saying it falsely.
Your signature, written or typed.

We normally reply within a few working days.

If we blocked something by mistake

If a link of yours was blocked and you think that was wrong, you can challenge it. This is called a counter-notice. Send us your contact details, say what was blocked, and state under penalty of perjury that you believe it was blocked in error. You also need to agree that a court can settle the matter if it comes to that.

People who keep doing it

Nobody has an account here, so there is no account for us to close. If we can spot a pattern of misuse another way, we block it.

False complaints

Send a complaint you know to be false and there are legal consequences, including paying for the trouble it causes. Please be sure the work is actually yours first.

Who is responsible

The person who re-posts is responsible, not the tool that saved the file. That is the position we take when a complaint arrives, and it is why a notice about a re-post is nearly always better sent to the account and to Instagram than to us.
