A link that will not download

Three checks solve nearly all of these, and they are quicker than waiting for a reply: the account has to be public, the post has to still be up, and the link has to be clean. The FAQ walks through each one.

If you have been through those and it still fails, write in with the exact link, roughly when you tried, and which phone you used. That is usually enough for us to track it down.

Copyright and takedowns

If someone has copied your work, please read the copyright page first. It explains what we do and do not keep, which changes where your complaint is best sent. We act quickly once we have everything we need.

Adverts

Tell us where on the page you want your advert and what it is for. We say no to anything that would trick visitors - fake download buttons most of all - whatever the price.

Press and general questions

Questions about how the site works, what we keep, or why we will not touch private accounts are welcome. The short answer to most of them is on the about page.

What we cannot help with

• Your Instagram account, if you are locked out. We have no connection to Instagram. Only they can help.
• Private accounts. We will not open one, whatever the reason - not even when it is your own old account.
• Who is behind an account, or anything else that means tracking a person.
